For those of you that know us at BFE Classics, know that “the” partner decided to up and move out in the middle of the night rather than paying for his half of the bills and moved all his stuff out plus some of ours….

We are back on our feet and the shop is coming together again.

Alot was taken that did not belong to “the” partner in that middle of the night move. 

Some of it was owned by “the” partner but a little notice would have been nice so we could purchase those things we depended on like; the lift and display cases…the stuff that was taken that was not “the” partners would have been nice to not leave the premises like the welder, including wire, newly filled tanks, welding helmet and welding gun …the showroom chairs, stuff in the display cases, personal belonging in the fridge and on the wall….the list goes on, not to mention $$$ that never made it past “the” partner’s hands…..a project in progress..we are still in shock that someone could be like that!!!

It was a blessing in disguise to encounter such a rude awakening of how cowardly and backstabbing someone could be..yes, it was heartbreaking to put so much trust into someone and be betrayed like this..but we have managed to get the shop going the next day with the help of family and friends!!! We have learned the meaning between friends and acquaintances!

We are pleased to say that since the change in staff,  we have had work completed in speedy time, unlike before. As for the shop and inventory, we got a  2 post lift with another on its way,  a new welder, display cases, showroom inventory and of course the door locks and alarm code are changed and video surveillance is now viewed off premises so everything should be good now.

Opening this shop was a dream for many years and we put alot of time, money and energy into it and we weren’t about to let someone like that ruin it for us.

For those of you that couldn’t make it to the Temecula Rod Run last weekend (March 8th 2008)there were alot of great cars and trucks. We went home with a trophy, which was a huge surprise after seeing some of our competition!

There will be another Temecula Rod Run in October. Stay tuned for details on how to register and we hope to see you all there!
